Bontecou Construction, with over 40 years of experience, is renowned in Jackson Hole for building custom homes that exemplify craftsmanship and exceed expectations, collaborating with leading architects and offering meticulous project management and transparent communication throughout the entire building process.

After 40 years they wanted to update their visual identity to match the more modern aesthetic to match their construction designs. This project was intended to create a visual update and ease of navigation of their website, update their logo and create materials that they would send out to clients and partners alike.

When approaching this project I knew the focus was to give the entire redesign a luxurious feel. Their website and visual identity needed to match the the same quality of the homes they are building. The result was using large images to showcase their architecture and white space to let it breathe. When approaching their logo, I wanted to use simple clean typography to not distract from the more important visuals. Going with a solid strong typeface that would be easy to read and evoke a no frills trust that they want to be sure that they maintain with their clients as contractors . After deciding on the type, I created a simple text based mark that could be added to various pieces to help their overall promotion.
