Design is how I make sense of the world. I’m drawn to solving complex problems through thoughtful systems and intentional details. Whether I’m shaping an experience or refining a visual language, I focus on clarity, function, and meaning.
Teaching dance has shaped how I lead in teams and lead through example in my own life. It’s taught me how to communicate clearly, organize efficiently, and adapt in real time. Leadership, to me, means balancing discipline with encouragement, by helping people feel both challenged and supported. The way that you move through a song, move with a person, and move through life are often times connected in unexpected and surprising ways.
Creativity isn’t limited to one medium for me, it is a mindset. I’m constantly exploring, experimenting, and connecting ideas across disciplines. Whether I’m sketching, brainstorming, or building something from scratch, I’m driven by the belief that imagination paired with intention can transform the ordinary into something meaningful, or more importantly fun. I believe that we can create the world we want to live in, as long as we keep creating.
I’m drawn to things that grow. Gardening has become both a practice in patience and a reminder that good things take time and care. Creating community and learning the organization of fellow plant enthusiasts to share cuttings and talk about favorite growing techniques has been one of my favorite adventures. I was nervous to begin because I felt like I wasn't advanced enough to have much to say, but once the group started to connect together the sharing and opening up of the community was incredible. I am working on some bonsai techniques and hope to have some interesting plants in a few years.
